Matt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Matt's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Matt is a sweet and loving 2 year old Black Lab/Boxer mix boy who is looking for his forever home.

A typical Lab, Matt loves to chase balls and play fetch. He is a super smart boy and very trainable. He walks great on a leash and would make a great running or hiking partner, or he would be content to just keep you company on a leisurely walk. He is great with kids and other dogs and is as sweet as can be!

Matt is housebroken, neutered, current on all his shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, and ready for her new life!

He will be at our adoption events this weekend:

Friday from 3-6:30pm at Only Natural Pet Store at 2100 28th St #1C, Boulder, CO 80301

For more information about him please email SafeHavenDogs@gmail.com

Our adoption application can be filled out here, http://safehavenrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ (our website is currently under construction, so please excuse the look of this temporary site).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matt, a Boulder Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
