Dionysus's Story...
Dionysus is a 14-months-old 80 lbs Great Dane/Lab mix. He needs a new home because owner had to move into an apartment and Dionysus needs a home with a yard.

Dionysus is an awesome dog and very well trained. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He's had private training with Sit Means Sit of Austin, and he is SUCH a great listener. He doesn't even need a leash, because he responds so well to his commands. He's has a super happy, lovable disposition... He's never met a person or dog he doesn't love. He likes cats a lot more than they like him.

Dionysus loves playing fetch with squeaky tennis balls, playing Tug of war, Long walks at the greenbelt, Being in your lap, Being outside, Chasing squirrels, Being loved.

Dionysus will come with a XL crate, his bowls, food container, training collar and his bed.

If you would like to meet Dionysus, please email his guardian Nicole at: ndi.graham@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dionysus, a Austin Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
