My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carl is new to our rescue and we haven't discover everything about him yet, but I can tell you that he is very playful and affectionate. He has been polite and kind to everyone he has met. He seems to be okay with other dogs but we have not let him play with them off leash yet. He is calm around them and doesn't particularly like confrontation. He was taken from the euthanasia list at MCACC. He was picked up as a stray in the field. Someone has spent some time with him, as he does know his basic obedience commands, like sit, down, no, come, out, and he does not rush through doorways, he will wait until you tell him it is okay to walk through them. He knows how to use a doggie door. Carl is s water boy and enjoys swimming in the pool very much. He also is s ball player and will retrieve the ball and promptly return it to you so that you can throw it again. If you tell him out when he returns it, he will promptly spit it at your feet. We are looking for a foster home for Carl so that he can have the opportunity to live in the house and impress us with his house manners. It's unknown at this time if he is good with kids.
