Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs 7.5 lbs. She is housetrained. She was a little timid but warmed up quickly and bonds well. She'd do anything for belly rubs, and although she'd be happy napping next to you all day, she is serious about her walks. She does an automatic sit for treats and doesn't jump or bark for food even when in competition with other dogs. . She just had knee surgery and is recovering well. She is shy, gentle, affectionate, cuddly and submissive. She sheds and loves her baths. Peanut is happy to meet new people but can easily get overwhelmed if approached too suddenly. She tolerates and mainly ignores other dogs but she is not fond of them. She'd do best as the only dog in the home. Peanut would be ok with older, calm kids but we do not recommend her for a home with young kids. Peanut has definite opinions and can be determined so she would do best with an experienced owner. She doesn't have separation anxiety, and doesn't whine when left alone. She is a true Chihuahua and would make a wonderful companion.
