Phillip's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Phillip's Story...
Phillip is an adorable Pekingese mix who came to us from a local shelter. Phillip is a little man with a big personality! He is good with other dogs and loves people once he gets to know you!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enought), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phillip, a Staunton Pekingese/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Pug for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Pekingese/Pug dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Pug breeders who help with Pekingese/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
