Gabby's Story...

How do you resist tiny Gabby?? Her name means Mighty Warrior. She and her brother Gideon came from a neglect situation where they were the only two survivors from a litter of 6. She is a strong willed little fighter that thinks all eyes should be on her. She has the most adorable little stripes on her tummy! She follows you around and is happy to put her paws on your face and kiss you. She is much smaller than her brother, so she is going to be a little bundle of love.

If you would like to meet Gabby, she is at her fosters house in north Fort Worth. She is available now for pre-adoption and can go to her forever home on May 30th after she is spayed and receives all of her shots!! If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application at www.maricats.com.
Gabby, Tabby has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Fort Worth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
