Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a young 1-2 year old black lab mix that has a very sweet disposition. She loves to run and play in an open area. Sophie loves to have something in her mouth and will bring it to show you. Sophie just loves attention and is very affectionate, she is happiest just to sit by your side for your attention. She is very well mannered and does not roam, she stays on the farm. If you have children Sophie would be so happy, she plays well with children and will run with them. Since she has a lot of energy she loves to chase cats. She also will bark at cattle. She has never growled or attempted aggression toward anyone. Sophie is up to date on her vaccinations including rabies, heartworm negative and spayed. If you are interested in making Sophie a member of your family please complete an application www.luckylabrescue.com and mention “Sophie” in the notes section

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
