This handsome little guy is Ash and he is looking for his loving forever home. Our wonderful volunteers and staff members are working to socialize Ash; daily handling and greens for encouragement are an excellent way to do this. Guinea pigs need to be handled every day to stay social. This is important to their well-being. In addition to socialization, daily greens, unlimited access to timothy hay, and daily cage cleaning are necessary to keep Ash happy and healthy. Ash would love to go home with his buddy Ozzy as guinea pigs are fairly social animals. If you would like to meet this shy but sweet guinea pig, please complete an adoption application at the front desk to see if Ash is the one for you!
