What a gorgeous dilute tortie!  Meet Muffin and yes she is sweet and yummy just like her name implies.  This little girl has been with us since she was a kitten and just hasn't been chosen yet. Her kitten like personality and energy makes her a great fit for a family with kids.  Muffin loves to run and play but is happy to cuddle up and take a good ol cat nap too.  If you think this pretty kitty might make a great fit for your home please go to our website to apply at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org and as always our fees for feline adoptions are free will to approved applicants!

About Emmet County Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

Our Adoption Process...

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.
