Sefton's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sefton's Story...
Sefton came into a high kill shelter as a stray so I am afraid we have no history on him. We got a plea from the ladies that help get the dogs at the shelter to safety. He is a sweet sweet boy and loves to snuggle with you. He is only 18lbs and about 5 years old. He has not barked at all in his foster home. He loves to play with small dogs and is not sure on the bigger dogs, we think would be better in a home with a small dog as we think big dogs scare him. He is fine with cats. He is very low key. He walks great on a leash. Poor Sefton had a hernia when we got him and his top jaw is longer than his bottom. He got fixed, hernia repair, dental, all shots, heart worm tested (neg), micro chipped and on monthly prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sefton, a Allentown Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
