Jasper's Story...
Jasper is a ten week old demestic short hair that came to us from a guy who found them in his hay pile, he has been in a foster home for six weeks. Jasper is a very sweet boy who loves to be held and loved on, but he will meow when he's has enough. Jasper is very active and needs a lot to do or he will get bored. This little blue boy gets along amazingly with other cats, and he adores dogs. He loves to follow Abigail's dogs around and to play with them. He is used to very cat friendly dogs, so a home with dogs that know cats would be best, because he can push their buttons. Jasper loves to play outside, but being on a harness and leash would be best because he tries to run off, he needs to be an inside cat. Jasper would make a very good kids cat, he just melts when they hold him. Just remember that all kids should be supervised with animals. Jaspy is litter box trained, and will come on a fix contract. His adoption fee is $20. He needs to find his forever home soon, because he is causing his foster moms allergies the flair up. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Salina Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salina, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Salina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salina paves the way for another one to be saved.
