Micah's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Micah's Story...
Micah is a handsome two year old pit mix. He is currently looking for his forever home! Micah is neutered, up to date on shots, crate trained, and housebroken. He is such a lovable boy. Even though he is a big boy he thinks he is a lap dog and will curl up in the smallest ball in order to fit on your lap! He currently shares his foster home with other dogs and gets along great with all of them. Needs home with absolutely NO CATS. He is a couch potato and likes to lounge around the house with you but he also likes going on walks and playing ball. If you think Micah is the dog for you please email toomanykitties7@yahoo.com

All dogs are dewormed, checked and treated for fleas if needed & have all vaccines (except rabies).

Drop in visitation Mon.-Fri. between 5:30-7:30 pm & Sat. & Sun. between 4-5 pm. If you are not available during these times, individual appointments can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Micah, a Battleground Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Battleground, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Battleground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battleground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battleground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battleground paves the way for another one to be saved.
