Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Keller is a handsome, hunky muscleman of a people-loving, three-year-old, 70-pound, male mostly white deaf Pit Bull Terrier with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Keller would love a home of his own without any other pets and some people who will dote on him. He’d adore a fenced-in yard so he can run and play.
After playtime, Keller is a total couch potato who likes to sleep with his legs straight up in the air … quite a funny sight!
He’s already learned the commands sit and down insign language but would do best in a home with adults and teens because you don’t want a child surprising him, or any other dog for that matter – but it’s more important with a deaf dog.
Keller’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. He is currently at the Tails of Hope Shelter in Highland Park, Illinois.
