My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm a 2-year-old neutered male German Shepherd mix. I weigh about 65 pounds. I'm a super sweet guy who loves belly rubs & giving kisses to all my human friends.

You may be wondering how I ended up without a home...well, here's my story. Not too long ago, I escaped from my house. I'm a strong athletic guy & I can jump pretty high, so everyone's best guess is that I hopped the fence & ran away. At the time, I wasn't yet neutered, so maybe I was looking for a girlfriend? Who knows. But whatever the case may be, I was found running in the street by a friendly lady. She took me to the shelter where I was scanned for a microchip and, low and behold, I had a chip! So the shelter staff contacted my family & they promised they would come to get me soon! Thank goodness! I was so relieved! But my happiness was short lived. I waited patiently for my family to come pick me up, but a couple of weeks went by & they never showed up to get me :(

I thought things might be taking a turn for the worst, but I happen to be a very lucky fellow. The lady who found me had been checking in on me & she was informed that my family never came for me. So she contacted CageFree & they agreed to rescue me!!!

Now I'm in a training program, learning basic obedience & manners, and I'm looking forward to a bright future ahead. I'm a really outgoing, friendly, affectionate guy & I can't wait to share my love with a new family who truly loves me.
