Tiger's Story...
Tiger is an adorable little guy, approximately 2 years old. He is actual a Dapple but so black it's hard to tell. He was relinquished because his owner was no longer able to take care of him. Tiger is a great dog! He loves other dogs, loves to play, loves people and loves kids. His first reaction to meeting a new person is to roll over and ask for a belly rub. He's got such an enthusiastic, happy, loving personality. A fence is required. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at the PetSmarts in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia) and at the Winder/Bethlehem located at Hwys. 316 and 81.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Winder Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Winder, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
