Baxter's Story...
Baxter is a male terrier approximately 1 year old and is absolutely adorable and sweet. He was just rescued from Animal Control so house manners and such are just being determined. No doubt about cuteness and sweetness though, especially with his new summer hairdo. He's full of himself and friendly and loving weighing approx. 10 pounds. Great lap-size dog who just loves to be loved and gives lots of good kisses. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't pay much attention to cats. Fence required. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at the PetSmarts in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia) and at the Winder/Bethlehem located at Hwys. 316 and 81.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter, a Winder Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Winder, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
