Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a beautiful boy, approximately 1 - 2 years old. He is much smaller than he looks in the picture, probably about 18 pounds so is a good size for most families. He is high energy and loves to play so a fenced yard is a must. He likes to be held in your lap and pampered. He has not yet been placed in a foster home so we do not know how he is with housemanners. He's a smart little guy and willing to please. He walks well on a leash and rides great in the car. A good all around guy that would make a great family pet. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at the PetSmarts in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia) and at the Winder/Bethlehem located at Hwys. 316 and 81.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Winder Feist/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Labrador Retriever for sale in Winder, or seeking a Feist/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Feist/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
