Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a Chihuahua, probably with something else mixed in there, and is approximately 2 years old and what a little doll she is. She weighs in at a little over 8 pounds, a smidgen bigger than a handful and just the right size for just about anybody's lap. At this point, she is not in foster care so her house manners are not known. The fact that she is sweet is easily seen and is known. She will not be available until the end of January but applications are being taken now. Fencing required. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at the PetSmarts in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia) and at the Winder/Bethlehem located at Hwys. 316 and 81.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Winder Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Winder, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
