Prissy's Story...
Prissy is a female 5 year old beautiful Cocker. She and her daughter Baby were rescued from a horrible situation but are now safe and happy in their new foster homes. Both had tested positive for Heartworm but have been treated and are totally recovered. Prissy gets along with other dogs and has great housemanners. She loves attention and being pampered. Fence required. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at the PetSmarts in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia) and at the Winder/Bethlehem location.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prissy, a Winder Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Winder, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
