Siegfried's Story...
We cannot say enough good things about this boy! His name is Siegfried now, but he still responds to his previous name of Chewy. He is a year and a half old sable German Shepherd. He is small for a GSD, weighing only 55 lbs. He is housetrained and knows sit, down, and heel. We are working on stay. . He gets along well with other dogs, and is now respectful of cats! He is very affectionate and eager to please his person. He does very well in the house, but always enjoys a romp in the yard with his people. He adores kids! A fence is a requirement. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at PetSmart in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia).

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siegfried, a Winder German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Winder, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
