Sammie's Story...
Sammie is an English Bulldog mix, probably American Bulldog, approximately 2 years old. She is a beautiful sweet loveable big baby whose whole body wags when she greets you. She is definitely a people dog , inlcuding children, but does not get along too well with other dogs so she would be the perfect pet for someone in an only pet family. Sammie is in a foster home learning the ropes and particularly getting some obedience training to hopefully make her more socialable with other animals and learn the basic commands. Sammie was diagnosed with Heartworm and has been treated and in good health again. She will definitely need a fence. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at PetSmart in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia).

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a Winder English Bulldog/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog/American Bulldog for sale in Winder, or seeking a English Bulldog/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog/American Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
