Taffy's Info...

Taffy's Story...
Taffy is approximately 8 months old. She was one of three pups that someone threw out like garbage into a dumpster. Luckily some joggers discovered her and her siblings and pulled them out. She is a beautiful little girl and has adjusted well from the ordeal she was put through. She is laid back and loves to sit with you and just listen to you talk to her...very sweet. While she is a little shy at first, a few kind words and a pat on the head wins her right over. Taffy is a very intelligent girl, quick to learn and eager to place. She will make someone an awesome pet. Taffy is looking for a loving home and if possible, with a doggie brother or sister. Fencing required. We also have 7-day a week cats at the Petsmart Store in Winder, Hwy. 316 and 81, for viewing and adoption. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at PetSmart in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia).

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy, a Winder Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Winder, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
