for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lorena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lorena's Story...
Lorena is an approximately 2 year old German Shepherd Dog. She and her litter mate were surrendered to a high kill shelter in California and Lorena was rescued after her littler mate was humanely euthanized. This is unfortunately the routine at high kill municipal shelters.
Lorena is very friendly, up-to-date on vaccinations, and micro chipped. Lorena will do best in a household where the family is GSD savvy, and children are not of toddler age. Lorena can be selective when interacting with other dogs of her size. No cats or small dogs are recommended.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lorena, a Bedford German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bedford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
