Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Animal Description Rusty is in foster care learning to walk on a leash, which he is doing very well. Knows to “potty” outside when taken out. I believe he will be easy to fully housebreak. He has a lot of energy like most pups and would probably do better with children over the age of five. He will need training not to jump up on people and not to mouth. This is what is expected of a pup this age. He enjoys his toys and shows a lot of interest in going into the lake. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
Rusty cannot be adopted out of state due to VA law prohibiting a dog to cross state lines, “unaltered”. His adoption fee is $200 which will include neutering, vaccines, dewormer and getting microchipped. He has also been started on Heartworm preventative.
