Jomay: 2 years, spayed female, 32 Lbs.
Jomay is a very friendly and smart but a little shy girl. She gets scared and nervous when meeting strangers at beginning. However, once she gets familiar and feels comfortable with strangers she becomes very sweet and attach to new people.
The rescuer first met Jomay when she was wandering at parking lot near our house. One day we found her was lying on the ground and covered with blood, the rescuer took her to the Pet hospital immediately.
The doctor said Jomay was pregnant but due to her bad health condition and heavy weight in tummy that caused miss carriage of her babies. That had caused her not only lost her babies and almost died from the heavy bleeding.
Two weeks recuperating after emergency treatment, Jomay finally recovered and ready to go home. The rescuer coundn't keep her inside her small apartment, sadly the rescuer had to leave Jomay back to the parking lot. So the rescuer did neuter and cut ear mark.(TNR) But the rescuer can hear Jomay howling at night and each time she walks by, she would run to us and want to follow the rescuer home. Recently, the rescuer found that someone would go to the parking lot or nearby area to take dogs killing them and selling them to the meat market. She is such a sweet and good girl that the rescuer was afraid she may end up getting killed and become someone’s food. So, the rescuer tried to find her a foster home that can be temporary for her to stay.
Because Jomay was so badly abused in the past, she gets nervous and was shy when she met new people. However, after few months staying in the foster home with good care Jomay's personality has improved a lot. She still gets shy when meeting strangers, but after spending time and become comfortable with you, she will follow you and lay nearby you. She is also well trained and house broken, also loves to riding in the car.
Jomay is a very people friendly and loving dog, she is very calm, sweet and well behavior with both adult and kids. However, maybe her past experiences of long term suffering without food and was attack by other animals. She does become very protective to her food. She is suitable for family without other pets because she may be fighting over food.
Jomay is a sweet girl that just wants to be with people she trusted and show her some loves. We sincerely hope there will be an angel shows up and adopt Jomay soon to give her a forever home that she can also loves you back unconditionally. There will be no more scary days and nights wondering on the street or worrying about losing her life.
