My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet and Gentle…that’s Trina! She is most likely a Lhasa/Terrier mix about 27 pounds, 10 years young and in perfect health! She originally was a rescue from Hurricane Katrina, and her human mom and dad who rescued her passed away recently and so she became an orphan again. But, she is a trooper and has maintained her happy spirit and just loves attention!
She enjoys her strolls through the neighborhood where she can sniff and explore, she is a very curious gal! Oh, and, she just loves puddles!! Trina does well with the dog and kitties in her foster home, she is very calm and gentle around them. She is not a chewer and although she is good eater she isn’t much for treats. She would love an older gentle child but little ones would be too much for her.
At bedtime and in the morning, Trina is really a snuggler! She isn’t a barker but does seem to get very nervous with thunderstorms (probably due to the hurricane she experienced)… for that we are using a calming collar and a thundershirt to help.
Trina is fully house trained and just a very easygoing, mellow girl. If you would love a happy gentle friend who will be your shadow, MEET TRINA!!
