My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They call me "Sassy", but I'm not. I am the sweetest, calmest girl you'll ever meet.

I'm a happy girl now, but I haven't always been. You see, I lost my family. Somehow we got separated and I could not find them again. I don't exactly know how long I roamed around looking for them before some people picked me up and took me to a place for lost dogs.

It was very noisy there and I was very sick. Luckily for me a nice lady from the Schnauzer rescue came and got me. Since that day everything has been looking up. She took me straight to the doggy doctor and got me all fixed up.

Today I'm in a foster home with a foster Schnauzer brother, a mom and a dad and a couple of kids. I'm happy again.

I'm a five-year-old Schnauzer girl and I weigh about 15 pounds. I'm up to date on all my shots, I've had a dental and I'm heart worm negative. I have a microchip and I've been spayed.

I walk great on a leash and love car rides. I'm completely house trained. I get along great with other dogs, but I'm not sure about cats. Older kids are fine too.

My most favorite thing to do is to just sit out in the yard in the grass or roam around the back yard. That's when I'm the happiest. I like watching the squirrels and the birds. That is why it is a must for my new forever home to have a fenced yard.

In the evening you will find me snuggling on the couch with my foster mom or dad. At night I sleep with them. My foster mom thinks I am the sweetest thing going!

I'm all set for my forever home. If you think we'd make a good fit, ask for me "Sassy".
