Charlie's Story...
Hi, my name is Charlie. I am an energetic Shiba Inu/Pomeranian Mix looking for a new home. My current Mom got me very soon after losing her last dog and has now realized that I am a boy who would do best in a family that wouldn’t have to leave me for long hours or even someone who is home most of the day! I am great with people, LOVE KIDS and even cats! I am completely vetted and neutered. What more can you ask for?
I was recently evaluated by CDR’s trainers and they noticed that I bark and spin in circles when I see another dog, especially big dogs. However, during 30 minutes of class, I settled down and went nicely through all the exercises, including downs. I think training would be great!
Come meet me at the next adoption event and see that I am a very smart, energetic boy with a big personality tucked into a 13 pound body!
XOXOXOXO-
Charlie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Schaumburg Shiba Inu/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Pomeranian for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Pomeranian breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
