Buffy's Story...
Hi everybody, my name is Buffy. I am a 9 week old Golden-Labrador girl and I am here with my brother, Bounce. A few weeks ago we were brought to a Veterinarian’s office in the Cullman area and they contacted the local rescue group. We were so small and the rescue workers knew we needed some extra special care before we would be ready to be adopted so they called AGB and asked if they would consider taking us. Well, you know what happened. Those AGB volunteers saw our pictures and melted like ice cream on asphalt on a hot, Alabama day. They came right over and got us and spent the last few weeks making sure we were healthy and ready for adoption. So now we are ready and waiting to find our forever homes. If you have the time to teach a playful, fun, loving puppy all the things I need to know to become the best dog ever, please contact AGB and ask to meet me, Buffy. I can’t wait to meet you and become your lap dog forever! Please visit me at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call 205-937-2339 or email camcowen@charter.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
