Captain's Story...
Captain is a 5 year old Shih Tzu Mix. Captain is a sweet and calm little guy. He's shy at first in new situations but does warm up quickly. He loves to play fetch with his toys and is happy to just curl up in someone's lap.

Captain is currently in Lafayette, LA but we transport north every two weeks. Our adoption fee is $375 and includes transport. All LAA dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain, a Glastonbury Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
