My story

Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a very handsome 16 year old Blue-Fronted Amazon. I came from a very loving home where I was loved my whole life by one wonderful lady and she spoiled me rotten with great food and lots of out of cage time. But my parront had to undergo surgery and would no longer be able to care for me any longer in the way it was felt I deserved, so I was brought to Florida Parrot Rescue in hopes to find a new family who will spoil me in the way I am used to. My foster Mom says I am an amazing, gorgeous, and very funny bird, and I have to agree, obviously! I love the ladies and I always whistle when I see one. I love to mimic sounds and I can pick up a humans vocabulary very quickly. I can say Hello Charlie, Step up, Hi, along with many other phrases. Since I learn quickly, the more you say, the more I will repeat. I also hum and sing, and I can make barking sounds too – I am very outgoing! I have a clean bill of health and am on a perfect diet which includes pellets, lots of fresh vegetables, chop, fruits, and healthy nuts I am ready for my forever home, maybe that will be with you?
