Tuesday's Story...
This adorable little terrier mix was turned into a high kill shelter by her owner as they had no time for her and her buddy. We saved them both and her buddy is adopted. She is just precious. She is approx 1 year old and 8.5 lbs. She is a lively and energetic little girl who likes to be around people or other dogs. She does have some separation anxiety, so would do best with another dog as a buddy or with someone who is home a lot. She is not fully house trained, but is learning pretty quickly and running out side with the other dogs. She does pretty well in a harness and loves to ride in the car, but also likes being on the front seat. She is very endearing
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuesday, a Woonsocket Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
