Jasper's Story...
What can I say about a dog who is just happy, happy, happy? Jasper is 14 lbs of love. He adores everyone and gets along with all dogs, cats and children so far. His tail is wagging 24/7and he is just happy to be part of the action. Jasper is not being crated in his foster home and is doing great. He is not destructive and not a chewer, a huge benefit of adopting a dog his age as we think he is about 2. Jasper is going to make someone or some family very, very happy. Could that be you? Jasper is being fostered in Birmingham, AL but loves to travel and is willing to relocate for the perfect forever home. For more information, send us a message at info@forrescue.net or visit forrescue.net to fill out an application and get the adoption process started. Hurry though, Jasper can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Nashville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
