Buck's Story...
Please visit our main website at for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Buck came directly from his owner who did not have time for him. His bucking bronco fun loving nature kind of shows that they didn’t get around to training him. But Buck has very good intentions, he just wants to play. He plays hard but it’s all play. He might be too rough for little kids right now but he is smart and learns quickly. He is one of those dogs who likes to walk themselves. In the right hands Buck will understand that holding the lease is for human and his job is to walk. Never a dull moment with Bucky Buck.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buck, a Encino Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
