Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leo is about 7 years old. He was first picked up as a stray around 2 years old, but due to a recent interaction with a newborn in the house he is again looking for his forever home.
He loves to go on walks, car rides, have his belly rubbed and going to the dog park. Leo taught himself to slide down a hill on his back in the winter. He is trained on an underground fence and doesn’t challenge the boundary. He will also follow you from room to room just to be near you.
Right now he is in a good place staying with his grandma and grandpa. They have a Westie and the two get along well and play well. He would be best in a home without kids and ideally where someone is home most of the day. He doesn’t suffer from separation issues, but is protective of the house and can be wary of visitors inside the house at first.
He enjoys lounging in the yard and likes when other dogs that are out for a walk come into his yard to visit. Leo is food motivated and knows basic commands like sit and stay.
