My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cane is 7-8 yrs old, and was a neglect case we were made aware of in South Texas. Although animal control had been out on a pervious complaint in 2013, the owners retained custody of Cane. We had to involve local animal control to get custody of this sweet, beautiful boy. He is a big boy at 90 lbs, and when rescued, his nail were so long, he had adjusted the way he walked to avoid discomfort & he was actually overweight. He had also chewed 3 of his feet raw from both boredom and itching... he was covered in fleas, so many it appeared his skin was crawling. But we got him in to a foster home & got him all fixed up & he is laid back, SO sweet, grateful for all things, fantastic with other dogs, loves people, has very nice manners. Likes to ride in the car, play football with you, and has excellent strength and energy for his age. He is potty trained & crate trained. He is ready to play or just chill, whatever is on the agenda for the day. He is a truly fantastic boy that everyone falls for when they meet him.
