Savannah is a 7 and a half year old female Bichon Frise. She weighs 19 pounds.
Savannah was surrendered because her owner could no longer afford to care for her. She came from a loving home with 2 other dogs, so she is well mannered, friendly with other dogs, and house trained.
After a few weeks in foster care, Savannah is starting to relax and prove what a little sweetheart she is. She's a girl who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it! Whether she needs to go outside or wants her dinner, she will let you know with little sounds and plenty of tail wagging. Savannah loves to explore the neighborhood on walks with her foster siblings, and does very well on a leash. She also loves to romp and play outside with the other dogs, or toss around a toy all by herself when she gets excited, and she readily makes herself available for lap time on the couch. She has not been observed around children, so will need to go to a home where children are 10 years or older.
Savanna has a history of bladder stones and will need to be on special food for the rest of her life. She is currently stone free and otherwise a happy, healthy girl who would love a forever home. Do you have a place in your heart for this special girl?
Savannah is being fostered in East Tennessee.
