Leia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Leia's Story...
Leia is a lovely 6 month old girl who deserves a loving home. She was found as a stray, but enjoys being around people. Leia is sweet and affectionate but can be a little timid. SHe will likely do best in a home without lots of activity. Leia seems to do well with other cats and should adjust well to mellow dogs and older children as well.

Like all our cats, Leia is FELV/FIV and Heartworm tested negative, has received age appropriate vaccinations, has or will be microchipped, has had fecal testing and been dewormed, and is current on flea and heartworm preventative.
All cats and kittens over 4 months of age have been sterilized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leia, a Ann Arbor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ann Arbor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ann Arbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ann Arbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ann Arbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ann Arbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
