Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy and Buddy are two-year-old brother / sister fawn and white Boxer mixes with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian – preferably together.
Roxie and Buddy are not only brother and sister but best friends. They are snuggly smart dogs who were given up by their former family to Waukegan Animal Control when they decided they no longer had time for them. While the dogs are well-behaved and friendly, the family never spent much time on formal training, so whoever adopts them should be prepared for some training classes to learn the basic commands.
This duo loves people but has a very strong prey drive so they can’t live with cats or any other small animal.
Their adoption fee of $300 each benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. They are now healthy, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. They are currently at the Tails of Hope Shelter in Highland Park, Illinois. The shelter may consider separating the brother and sister if the perfect homes come along that can only accommodate one more dog.
