Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy is a two-year-old, female fawn and white Boxer-mix with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Roxy enjoys the company of other dogs, but not cats or other small creatures. She is a snuggly smart dog who was given up by her former family to Waukegan Animal Control along with her brother when the family decided they no longer had time for their dogs. While Roxy is well-behaved and friendly, her former family spent little time on formal training, so whoever adopts her should be prepared for some training classes to help her learn the basic commands.
Roxy’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is currently at the Tails of Hope Shelter in Highland Park, Illinois.
To meet and possibly adopt Roxy, please fill in the adoption application at: http://tailsofhope.org/availabledogs.html and follow up by contacting tailsofhope@aol.com or 847-557-9554.
