Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duke's Story...
Duke is a super smart little dude, crate trained, 95% housetrained, LOVES to run, LOVES to play with other dogs, LOVES kids, but may be a little much for small kids, likes to fetch tennis balls and will "almost always" bring them back. wink emoticon We have been working on basic commands. So far, he can sit and come when called - still working on stay and shake. He will need an active family to keep up with his energy level. A running buddy and fenced in yard would be ideal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Sugar Grove Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Sugar Grove, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Sugar Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
