Jude's Story...
*** Courtesy Listing ****

Meet Jude. Located in Houston, TX.

He is a 9 month old lab/pit mix. Predominately lab. He is also neutered, UTD on shots, HW-, current on flea and HW prevention, housebroken (does sometimes tinkle a little bit when overly excited meeting new people).

He is currently being crate trained for obedience. He is making improvements, especially when given a bone or frozen kong to keep him occupied for a bit when he goes in. Still cries/barks when you leave him, but settles quickly.

Jude Loves other dogs but has never been around cats. He is very high energy and would do best in an active home. Needs daily activity (play at the park, walks, and/or play with dogs).

Very much a companion, wants to be close to you as often as possible. Cuddler. Loves tug-o-war and playing in water! .

*** If interested in adopting, please contact Amanda Vysocky via email @ Alvysocky@gmail.com for more info!

*** Jude is also in need of a foster home. If you have a couch he can crash on for a while as well, please contact Amanda!! Anything helps right now, be it short or long term! Thank you. ***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jude, a Grand Prairie Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Prairie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grand Prairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Prairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Prairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Prairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
