Smokey – Brown & Black tabby, approx. 1 year

This playful young man is ready to find his forever home with you! Smokey was raised in several foster
homes and had a rough time with all the transitions, becoming very shy. Since he has been in a stable
foster home for several months his personality has really busted through! He’s a sweet and fun guy that loves to play and snuggle in bed at the end of the day. Smokey is submissive with my other “bossy” cats and settled in perfectly. Smokey is looking forward to joining your family!

Smokey has been neutered, is current on all vaccinations and will be microchipped prior to adoption.

About Homes for Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of animal lovers who volunteer our time and talents to help homeless needy pets find new homes. Many of our pets come from life or death situations, or abusive situations. Some pets come from city shelters. We also list animals that are still with their owner, but for one reason or another the owner can no longer keep them. Our dogs and cats live in foster homes, not in a shelter. You don't have to wonder if a dog or cat is good with kids, or other dogs or cats. You will usually know if they are. We work on housebreaking and basic manners as well.

ALL of our animals, even those we list for owners trying to re-home their pets, must be spayed/neutered to help control the serious animal overpopulation in this area.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held at the following locations/times:

We hold adoption events at the Forum PetSmart (exits 172-173 off IH-35 in San Antonio) each weekend from noon - 4:00 p.m. We also hold occasional other adoption events. Check the calendar on our website for additional or updated information! (www.homesforpets.org)

Our Adoption Process...

If you'd like to adopt an animal from us, please go to our website at www.homesforpets.org to fill out an adoption application!
