MIKA's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

MIKA's Story...
Mika is such a beautiful girl with her unusual black brindle coloring. She is pretty energetic and she loves a good chase. She and her kennel mate are steadily playing and chasing each other around the yard. With that in mind, I think she would make someone a super running and/or hiking partner. She is very friendly, loves people and other dogs…she would not be too good around cats tho. Mika was rescued from a local kill shelter and now she would love nothing more than to be adopted by an active and loving family. She was born around 11/26/14 - at six months she weighs around 35 pounds. Mika has been spayed, is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIKA, a Bedminster Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
