Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simon is a 3 or 4 year old Yorkshire terrier mix who weighs 13 lbs. He is very outgoing He needs an energetic household and a LOT of exercise. Simon is well mannered and does not lunge or jump on furniture. He is supersmart and knows NO, BALL, TOY, SIT DROP, BACK UP commands. He does resource guard his bones and can be a little mouthy and nippy. He is comfortable in the home when he has his own spaces to go to. Because he is so rambunctious, we do not recommend him for a home with older dogs. Simon can be fearful of other dogs and can be aggressive with other dogs, cats, or strangers while on the leash. He is not food or treat motivated but he is obsessive about his toys. He needs a firm hand. Simon reacts negatively to being disciplined so must be trained with positive reinforcement. . He is great on walks and looks for leadership and approval and is not jealous of other dogs in the home. His right eye is cloudy and he may have limited vision but it doesn't slow him down. Simon knows how to use a doggy door and is being crate-trained. He’d be a great hiking partner and would be up for anything outdoorsy (Frisbee, Fetch - you name it). His current foster says a big yard with a houseful of kids would work just fine for Simon!
