Molly's Story...
Molly was found as a stay in the area of Botkins. According to the individual who brought her to the shelter, Molly was tossed out of a car and left to fend for herself. She has been a really good girl here at the animal shelter, but she is patiently waiting for that opportunity to find a home of her own. She has a great personality and gets along great with other dogs. Come meet her at the Shelby County Animal Shelter today!
The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-1.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Sidney Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
