My name is Shyla, named for my initial shy nature, but after I get to know you, I absolutely love being pet and cuddled with. Although I am still very young, my life thus far has had its scary parts. I lived for several weeks in a drainage pipe that ran under a road. I was very scared of people, so I did not make it easy for anyone attempting to catch me. Finally, a lady who wouldn't give up on me, set a trap and I naively went in it. I was upset at first and hid for quite some time, but then I began to trust people and the other cats that I lived with. What a surprise when I figured out how great it felt to have my fur stroked and my chin scratched! I also love rubbing up against and cuddling with my feline companions! I am now known as one of the most affectionate cats in my large enclosure and I am ready for a furever home that will love on me and hopefully provide me with another feline friend!
