Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet, happy and friendly, Louie is about 2 years young, neutered lab around 50lbs, utd with all vaccines, hw negative, flea free and full of play ! His favorite things: exercise and play and be with his family companions. We think he would be a great running partner OR do well at agility, he loves to “have a job”; after his work is done he will relax with his family. We recommend children over the age of 8 as Louie can become over zealous at times when the excitement level rises.
The beauty of Louie (as with most black dogs) is difficult to photograph but as you can see he is ALL smiles all the time. His favorite playmate is a female furry companion (Sophie, a young boxer) who is also in training with DREAM. He does well with dogs his size and larger, has not been tested with cats.
Louie is a quick learner and SMART, and, like all dogs adopted there should be consistent reminder about “appropriate behavior” when in a new environment. Excited dogs will sometimes let their emotions take over , forgetting the appropriate behavior they have been taught to follow. Your reminder (continued discipline) is very important in establishing a bond, trust and leadership and a happy, balanced dog. MOST ADOPTIONS ARE WITHIN A 150 MILE RADIUS!
