Gracie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Gracie's Story...
Gracie has come to us from Memphis, TN where she was originally found as a stray and never reclaimed. Gracie is a gorgeous gal who is clean, quiet, and well mannered. Upon first meeting Gracie she can be aloof and unsure but given a cookie and just a few minutes, she warms right up with her true southern charm.
We feel Gracie can go to a home with the right male dog, so a meet and greet will be needed. Please no cats for Gracie.

If you are interested in Gracie, please go to the BEAR website at: www.bigeastakitarescue.net and fill out our online adoption application for Gracie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Toms River Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
