Charity's Story...
I'm charming Charity! I'm just a silly young girl, about 8 months old, and the consensus here is that I am a mini Doberman mix. I prefer to think of myself as the LoveMe Breed. As is the story with so many of my new friends here, I was found as a stray and brought here to the shelter in hopes of finding a great home. I'm sure I would love a home of my own, but I must tell you. It sure is nice getting all the things I need here. Things like blankets, breakfast, treats and some of the coolest toys, ever! I love the toys! But, the best part of staying here is the loving I get from my humans. Man, these humans really love me! They say I'm a silly girl and quite the entertainer! And I guess I am. It's just so nice to feel loved and wanted. I love to play with other pups, especially outside in the dog park. I'm a good playmate. I think I would really enjoy playing with little humans, also. From what I hear, they can be lots of fun! My friends here say that a family would give me all the things that they do here, and then some. That sounds like something I could get used to quickly. I have a great heart for loving, a strong little body for playing and amazing ears for listening. I am the perfect companion rolled up into one compact little pup. Come meet me at the shelter.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charity, a Jackson Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
